Participants research specified subtopics of a broader technological area. Participants apply the knowledge and resources gained through their research to write a comprehensive essay on the one (1) subtopic that is designated on-site.

Entries are limited to two (2) individuals per chapter.
# State Competition Information
Notecards (1 per subtopic) may be used for the preliminary round where students write a detailed outline.
Participants are responsible for bringing a blue or black ink pen (may be erasable)
