LEAD stands for Leadership, Empowerment, Achievement, and Development—four pillars that will guide your journey to success. This unique opportunity offers:

  • Leadership training to help you inspire and motivate your chapter.

  • Empowerment sessions that provide the tools and confidence to take initiative and make an impact.​​

  • Achievement strategies to help you excel in competitive events and officer duties.

  • Development workshops to create your Program of Work and set goals for the year ahead.

​

The LEAD Conference is a one-day training opportunity designed for TSA officer teams and advisors.  This workshop will give you opportunities to​ work alongside fellow officer teams and advisors as you gain the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to lead with confidence and achieve excellence in everything you do. Officer teams and advisors will work together to develop a first draft of the annual Program of Work, discuss competitive events, and much more.

Details:

  • The conference is free for up to 6 TSA officers.

  • Time will be given for officers to enjoy lunch on their own.​

  • The dress code for students and advisors is casual. A school or TSA t-shirt is preferred.

​

Students will have the opportunity to earn the Statesman Award.  This award is to recognize participants who have demonstrated their leadership skills and mastered specific requirements in leadership training. Recipients of the award will need to know the motto, TSA colors and meaning, be able to recite the creed, name the components of the program of work, and name at least 6 state officers and the office they hold.

OKTSA

TSA is a national, non-profit organization of high school and middle school student members who are engaged in STEM. Since TSA was chartered in 1978, over 5,000,000 members have participated through competitions, intracurricular activities, leadership opportunities, and community service.
