Upcoming Conferences

Mini Conferences

Oklahoma TSA is proud to have dedicated chapter advisors who host spring conferences, providing members with invaluable opportunities to refine their skills. These conferences give participants the chance to practice competitive events and receive constructive feedback from judges, helping them enhance their projects for the State Leadership Conference.

  • February 8 - Edmond Mini Conference

  • February 14 - Sequoyah County Technology Challenge

  • February 22 - Oologah Middle School

  • February 26 - Elk City Middle School Gymnasium

Regional Conferences

Regional Conferences take place in both the East and West regions of Oklahoma, serving as a vital step for students competing at the state level in specific events. To qualify for the following competitions at the State Leadership Conference, participants must first compete at a regional conference:

  • MS Prepared Speech

  • MS Leadership Strategies

  • MS Challenging Technology Issues

  • HS Prepared Presentation

  • HS Extemporaneous Speech

  • HS Debating Technological Issues

The top ten individuals or teams in these events will advance to the state level.

Beyond qualifying, regional conferences provide an excellent opportunity for students to gain additional practice in other competitive events, sharpening their skills before the State Leadership Conference.

Note: TSA members may only attend one regional conference.

  • February 26 - Eastern Region

  • February 28 - Western Region

State Conference

The state conference is an annual event that brings students all over Oklahoma. It is the major event that students plan for and work towards for their whole school year. Competitors from across the state showcase their talents and projects to judges in various competitions to win awards and qualify for the national conference. On top of competing, students have the opportunity to attend workshops and network with industry professionals. This year, our theme is "Tune Into Technology."

Forward to 50

About

Forward to Fifty (F2F) is a national membership recruitment campaign that capitalizes on TSA’s 50th anniversary in June 2028, and its related membership goal of 500,000 members and/or 3000 chapters. Launched today, the campaign has two major components: 1) recruiting new chapters, and 2) recruiting new members.

Recruiting new CHAPTERS

During the Forward to Fifty campaign, any existing chapter that successfully recruits, mentors, and helps a school start a first-time chapter or brings back an inactive (three or more years) chapter, could receive $1000 (one-time only) once the new chapter has affiliated with TSA. All qualifying existing chapters will be entered in an electronic selection process, and 50 chapters will be selected randomly to receive $1000.

Recruiting new Members

Any existing chapter that either matches or exceeds its 2023-2024 membership number could receive $1000. All qualifying chapters will be entered in an electronic selection process, and five middle school chapters and five high school chapters will be selected randomly to receive $1000. Learn more about recruiting NEW MEMBERS.
